Gaumont Plaza
Steve is the manager of a local independent cinema, the grade II listed Gaumont Plaza. He is part of a team that bought the old cinema to renovate and bring back to it’s former glory. Breathing life back into this historic building. He then shows all the latest releases for just £3 or £4!
Steve let me take his portrait and then gave me a quick tour of the cinema before opening the doors for the evening screening. It’s an impressive and faithful restoration of the original art deco interior. Keeping the character of this old building and prolonging the pre-multiplex cinema experience for the community.
